After working around for a long time, I registered more than n accounts. Didn’t even start digging. It was only in the afternoon that I understood the general process.

process

  1. Download mining software
  2. Get wallet address
  3. Choose a mining pool
  4. Start mining

Download mining software

Github has many open source kernels and mining software with GUI compiled based on various kernels. nicehash.com comes with its own mining software, but it cannot work properly with the GTX1060 5G graphics card. So I changed to the Pine House miner using the NBMiner core. Exclusively for beginners

Get wallet address

You can get the wallet address after registering an account on nicehash.com. Can be used directly. The wallet address can also be obtained through exchanges (such as Huobi, Binance, etc.), or through mobile wallets such as imtoken.

Connect to mining pool

Mining software without a GUI needs to fill in the addresses of the mining pool and wallet in the configuration file. Pine House Miner supports multiple mining pools, and you can choose different mining pools according to your needs. Note: Some mining pools require you to register an account.

After configuration, you can click to start mining.

You can see the status of your mining machine in the mining pool. Personally, I think nicehash.com does a good job.
