Operation before failure occurs
After using Symantec ghost disk copy, the system on the new disk cannot enter the system and the above error occurs.
Equipment status
- Lenovo ThinkPad E580
- Both the source disk and the new target disk are in MBR mode
- The 2TB disk has 9 partitions, each partition has an operating system
Solution steps
- Use boot repair in the PE system to repair one of the partitions
- Use the disk management tool to rebuild the boot (note to back up the partition table)
- Restart the computer, enter the BIOS, turn off fast startup, and select traditional mode to start (if UEFI startup is required, please set it according to the actual situation)
- Just use EasyBCD to add and edit the boot in the operating system you are currently entering.
- Just add the boot to the corresponding partition
